The La Quinta Restaurant in Benfleet was all set for a very special evening on 10th February 2011. It was an exciting gathering with football legends and Sky Sports presenters Alan Mullery and Tony Gale.
The stage was all set for the jovial hosts. The event took an exciting mode as Alan Mullery and Tony Gale remembered their glorious days both on and off the pitch. They shared some of the fascinating tales from the dressing room and beyond. There was a buffet and a fun filled Q&A session hosted by our sporting veterans. Alan Mullery and Tony Gale both won admiration for their speaking talents. It was an absolute feast for the football lovers.

Participants struck a pose with their former players. There were games as well which only added to the gala time. There was also a memorabilia auction. What a fantastic night it was!
Alan Mullery said ‘’these evenings are great because we get the chance to relive our best footbaling memories, and it’s always good to meet fans in a relaxed atmosphere.’’
